She is highly skilled in strategic planning, grant writing, project management and fundraising. Britney is detail-oriented, enjoys writing, and is an exceptional editor. With strong leadership and decision-making capabilities, she is talented in creative problem solving, board governance and development, leveraging data, and utilizing technology to enhance impact.
Britney is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, with degrees in International Studies and Spanish, and received her Masters of Public Service from the University of Arkansas William J. Clinton School of Public Service. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee Consortium for Social Enterprise Effectiveness and is a Certified Nonprofit Professional. Britney holds various certifications in leadership, DEI, marketing, post-crisis leadership, social media, and fund development.
Britney currently serves on several nonprofit boards and is involved in the community. She has been recognized in Knoxville Business Journal’s 2018 “40 Under 40” and is a graduate of Leadership Blount. She is a current class member of Leadership Knoxville.
